The Amsterdam Tenants Network (Huurders Netwerk Amsterdam) is here for everyone who rents or is looking for a rental home. Together, we fight for fair and affordable housing in Amsterdam. We stand up for the interests of all tenants: from social housing to mid-range rentals and the private sector. By joining forces, we’re building a strong tenants’ movement and creating a powerful voice that can truly make a difference.
What we stand for:
- An end to high rents.
- An end to homelessness: no one should have to sleep on the streets of Amsterdam.
- Safe and healthy homes for everyone: no mold but good-quality housing.
- An end to vacant properties: homes are meant to be lived in, not left empty.
- Organizing tenants and housing seekers across Amsterdam so they know their rights, strengthen their collective power, and gain greater influence in the city.
