Vision
Tenants in Amsterdam face exorbitant rents, endless waiting lists, and poorly maintained properties. There's a significant shortage of affordable housing, insufficient student housing, and rising homelessness. Yet, tenants, home seekers, and homeless people are rarely represented, let alone heard, at the tables where policy and decisions are made.
Yet we choose hope. The HNA is building a powerful movement that empowers, unites, keeps tenants and home seekers visible, and makes them heard. We invest time and energy in each other to build trust, solidarity, and power. With our knowledge, networks, and dedication, we fight for greater control over our living environment.
This is the foundation of our strategy. By organizing and connecting people locally, we increase the collective power of the city.
